Day 1. Arrival & Welcome
17.00: Pick-up Clients from Sukhbaatar square in Ulaanbaatar
Transfer: Drive to " Hillside Tour Camp" outskirts of Ulaanbaatar near Chingis Khan airport.
Meet & Greet: Meet you fellow travelers and the experienced team.
Welcome Dinner: Savor a delicious Mongolian dinner with traditional dishes.
Relaxation: Enjoy the evening at the camp with campfire and friendly atmosphere
Day 2. Kharhorin & Orkhon Valley
Morning: Transfer to Kharhorin, the ancient capital the Mongol Empire.
En Route: Explore picturesque valleys and sand dunes.
Camel Encounter: Observe camels grazing in their natural habitat and enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning
scenery.
Kharhorin: visit the Erdenezuu Monastery,a significant historical and religious site.
Karakorum Museum: Explore the Museum to learn history of the Mongol Empire.
Evening: Camp in the scenic Orkhon Valley, enjoying the tranquility of the wilderness and some live Mongolia
music.
Day 3. Horseback Riding &Hot Springs
Morning: Meet your horses and receive a brief riding instruction from experienced guides.
Horseback Adventure: Embark on your first day of riding, exploring the vast green fields and gently ascending
scenic slopes. Picnic in wild nature.
Evening: Camp near the Tsagaan sum hot springs. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the therapeutic waters after day on
horseback.
Day 4. Tuvkhun Monastery & Mountain Picnic
Morning: Continue your horseback riding adventure.
Tuvkhun Monastery: Visit the historical Tuvkhun monastery perched at the top Mount Sant.
Mountain Picnic: Enjoy a unique picnic with the monks residing at the monastery, offering a glimpse into
their peaceful lifestyle.
Evening: Camp in the Orkhon Valley, reflecting on the day's experiences.
Day 5. Waterfall, Petroglyphs & Nomadic life
Morning: Continue your horseback riding journey.
Ulaan tsutgalan Waterfall: Witness the majestic Ulaan tsutgalan Waterfall.
Ancient Petroglyphs: Explore ancient petroglyphs, offering a fascinating glimpse into the past.
Nomadic Encounters: Interact with local nomadic families< experiencing their traditional way of life and
hospitality.
Fishing: Enjoy the opportunity to try your hand at fishing in the pristine waters of the Orkhon River.
Day 6. Hyatruun River & Wilderness.
Morning: Continue your horseback riding adventure.
Hyatruun River: Ride towards the crystal-clear Hyatruun River, surrounded by breathtaking scenery of volanic
rocks and lush forests.
Wilderness Exploration: Enjoy the tranquility of the wilderness, observing the unique flora and fauna.
Wild Picnic: Have a memorable picnic amidst the stunning natural surroundings.
Horse care: Spent sometime feeding and grooming your horses , showing appreciation for these magnificent
creatures.
Starry Night: Camp under the vast Mongolian sky, enjoying the breathtaking display of stars.
Day 7. Last Horseback Ride & Uliastai River
Morning: Embark on the final day of your horseback riding adventure.
Untouched Nature: Immerse yourself in the untouched beauty of the Mongolian landscape.
Nomadic Life: Observe the unchanged nomadic way of life firsthand, interacting with local yak herders.
Photography Opportunity: Capture stunning photographs of the scenery, wildlife, and the nomadic lifestyle.
Uliastai River: camp along the scenic Uliastai River, enjoy the peaceful ambiance.
Day 8. Jeep Tour & Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur
Morning: Begin your jeep tour towards Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur.
En Rout: Visit several fascinating sites: Tsenkher Hot Springs; Relax in the therapeutic waters of the ​
Tsenkher Hot Springs.
Tsetserleg City: Explore the charming Arkhangai Province center.
Chuluut Canyon: Marvel at the dramatic Chuluut Canyon, natural wonder of the region.
Evening: Camp near the town of Tariat, preparing for the next day's adventures.
Day 9. Horgo Crater & Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur.
Morning: Visit the impressive Horgo Crater, an extinct volcano offering breathtaking views.
Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur: Arrive at the Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur, stunning turquoise lake surrounded
by volcanic landscapes.
Activities: Enjoy various activities such as fishing, swimming, and a relaxing picnic lunch on the shores of
the lake.
Evening: Enjoy the tranquility of the lakeside, perhaps with a campfire under the starry sky.
Day 10. Taihar Chuluu, Khar Balgas & Hustain Nuruu.
Morning: Depart from Lakeside and head back towards Ulaanbaatar.
Taihar Chuluu: Visit the unique Taihar Chuluu, a solity rock formation standing tall in the Valley.
Khar Balgas: Explore the ruins of Khar Balgas, the ancient capital of the Uighur Kingdom, offering a glimpse
into a bygone era.
Hustain Nuruu National Park: Visit Hustain Nuruu National Park, famous for its reintroduced population of Przewalski's horses(takhi)
Return to the Base Camp; Return to the Hillside Tour Camp.
Farewell Dinner: Enjoy a final farewell dinner with your fellow travelers and the expedition team.
Fireworks Display: Celebrate the conclusion of your adventure with a spectacular fireworks display under
the night sky.
Day 11. Departure.
Morning: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the camp.
Transfer to Ulaanbaatar: Depart from the camp and transfer back Sukhbaatar square in Ulaanbaatar.
Arrive at Sukhbaatar square at approximately 12.00 AM.
Final Touches: Thank you; Express your gratitude to the guides, drivers, and everyone who contribute to
making expedition a success. Farewell: Bid farewell to your fellow travelers and cherish the memories of
your Khangai Mountain Adventure.

Prior horseback riding experience is preferred but not essential.
All meals, accommodations ( mini gers or tents ), transportation are included.
Flexibility: You can join to the expedition as hiking and jeep tour.
